A feedback link opens one resume, as it was when you made the link, for one reviewer. They can read it and, if you allow it, leave comments. They don’t need an account. They can’t change your resume or see anything else in your account. Feedback links are separate from your public web page. Your resume can stay private, and you can make as many feedback links as you need, one for each reviewer.

What the reviewer sees

  • Your resume as it was when you made the link. Edits you make afterwards aren’t shared, so every comment is about the version you sent. Your private notes, hidden sections and hidden items, and Check results are left out.
  • Comments left through that link. Each link has its own comments, so reviewers don’t see each other’s.
  • Application progress, only if you choose. For each application you pick, the reviewer sees the role, company, stage and the dates it changed stage. Notes, contacts, salary, documents and everything else stay private. This part is live: when you move an application, the reviewer sees the new stage.

Read comments and activity

Under Feedback links, each link shows who it’s for, whether it still opens, when it was last opened, and how many comments you haven’t marked done. Select a link to read its comments and its activity: when it was made, opened, commented on and turned off. Opening it more than once in an hour counts as one view, and your own visits don’t count. Mark a comment Done when you’ve dealt with it. Comments never change your resume; make the edits yourself. Select the link, then Turn off link…. It stops opening at once, and comments already left stay with you. You can’t turn a link back on; make a new one instead. A link also stops opening when it expires, when its resume goes to Trash, or when you delete the resume. Deleting the resume deletes its links and their comments. Feedback links and their comments are part of your data export.
